Policies:
A damage deposit is required from each individual operator. It is not allowed to cover another person’s deposit except for spouse or children. The damage deposit is $500 on a credit card OR $1,000 on a debit card. Each deposit is released when the jet ski is returned with no damage, but may take several days to reflect on your statement. A damage deposit can not be split on multiple cards.

You must arrive at least 1 hour prior to your scheduled departure time. Late arrivals are subject to cancellation without a refund.

All operators are required to present a physical credit/debit card and government ID matching the reservation holder's name. Pictures will not be accepted.

All operators must be at least 18 years old. Passengers must be at least 42" tall.

Only 1 additional passenger or operator is allowed per Jet Ski. The combined weight of both riders may not exceed 375 lbs.

We have a 48 hour cancellation policy. If you must cancel your reservation and we are notified at least 48 hours prior to the day of your reservation, we will refund 85% of the total rental cost. If you cancel for any reason and we are notified less than 48 hours prior to the day of your reservation, we cannot refund any portion of the payment. All sales inside 48 hours are final and non-refundable. Rescheduling is only allowed if we are notified no less than 48 hours of the reservation date. In the event of unfavorable weather, you may reschedule the day of (at our discretion).

For the safety of all parties, Next Wave Watersports retains the right to alter or cancel a reservation based on current or forecasted lake and weather conditions.

Our designated boundaries: Loyola university to the north, Adler planetarium to the south. The Playpen & Chicago River are off limits. Please click here to see boundaries on the map. Be careful of submerged areas such as Dime Pier.

It is required by insurance that all operators and passengers speak fluent English to understand the safety and operation instructions.

Next Wave Watersports reserves the right to refuse a rental to anyone we feel is under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The reservation deposit will be forfeited and no reschedule will be permitted.
